My team worked closely with the Tide Cleaners and P&G stakeholders, plant managers, and guest services reps to understand their requirements and develop a software solution that addressed their needs. The solution was tailor made to manage all plant operations, including the garment check-in process, garment tracking, garment processing, and garment delivery. The software was also designed to work with the metal progetti machines, enabling it to extract guest garments accurately and efficiently. The point of sale system was integrated into the software, allowing customers to easily pay for their garments. The system was designed to be user-friendly, allowing customers to select the garments they wish to check in, view the status of their garments, and make payments. The system also allowed customers to receive real-time updates on the status of their garments via email, text message, and mobile app.
The Tide Cleaners plant operations and point of sale software was successfully implemented, and it had a significant impact on the company's operations and customer experience. The software helped to streamline the plant operations, resulting in faster turnaround times, increased efficiency, and improved accuracy in tracking garments. The point of sale system also enhanced the customer experience, making it easier for customers to check in their garments, make payments, and receive real-time updates on their garments' status.
